When knowledge is not used appropriately, it can make one go astray, yet deluding oneself that it’s actually the right way. Because when you have knowledge, paradoxically, you can fool yourself perhaps more easily. You can bend reality to your liking and believe it. It’s something like confirmation bias.

It’s no wonder why universities and educational institutions are the first places people in power aim(ed) at. These places are crucial in a country’s development. Once corrupt, it will almost certainly take generations to re-establish something on that level of importance.
